The site is run by Lindsay and Andrew Townsend and is situated in the small village of Crowmarsh Gifford. The village has it’s own Post Office Stores approximately 500 metres away and also has two pub/restaurants.

The historic town of Wallingford is a short stroll over the spectacular 22 arch bridge and boasts many shops, pubs and restaurants.

Group bookings, pets and children are welcome

Brightwell Vineyard produces quality English wines which frequently win medals at National and International level

The 14-acre vineyard is situated 1 mile north of Wallingford and 8 miles south of the city of Oxford abutting the south side of the River Thames in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and produces white, rosé, red and sparkling wines.

Wines sales and tastings are available from Brightwell Vineyard’s on-site Wine Shop, open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12 – 6pm, and at other times by arrangement. Group wine tastings and vineyard tours are available by appointment.

All our guests recieve a traditional English welcome at our detatched house close to the historic market town of Wallingford on Thames.

Our accommodation has single, double/twin, triple and family rooms. Our rooms have either en suite or private bathrooms, have just recently been refurbished and have many amenities to make you feel as comfortable and as much at home as possible. Full English and Continental breakfasts are served with a wide range of homemade and vegetarian produce.

We cater for families, walkers and cyclists and are well situated for travel to Oxford, Henley and beyond into the Thames Valley.

Chiltern Aerosports is a flying training school located near Ipsden on the south western slopes of the chiltern hills between Reading and Oxford, We operate from our own airfield.
We offer training (including AFI) radio courses, share schemes, gift vouchers and sales.
Chiltern Park Aerodrome has a comfortable split level air conditioned clubhouse with spacious classrooms and a sunny viewing deck. Open all year round.
